SGP Indonesia Coordination Meeting beetwen Ministry of Environment and Forestry – ACB – Penabulu
Jakarta, 13-14 February 2020. Penabulu held a coordination meeting between the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity (ACB) and Penabulu – Service Provider held at Rumah Kemuning – Penabulu located in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. This meeting discussed the Annual Report SGP Indoensia 2019 compiled by Penabulu – Service Provider and discussion related to the issuance of the No Obejection Letter (NOL) Grant Agreement by KfW for SGP Indonesia Cycle 1 and discussion of the Call for Proposal for SGP Indonesia Cycle 2. One day meeting with SGP ACB was attended by Corazon De Jesus and Wardani Wekoningtyas. During the meeting the SGP Indonesia Annual Report 2019 discussed activities that had been going on in relation to the small cycle 1 grant program where service providers had conducted field visits to Way Kambas National Park and Gunung Leuser National Park, socialization to proponent, Coaching Clinics for proponents and financial management training for proponents who have been selected in the SGP Indonesia Cycle 1. The second meeting was held at the Office of the Ministry of Environment, precisely in Block 7, 7th Floor, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) on February 14, 2020 which was attended by Ms. Nining Ngudi Purnamaningtyas as Head of the Sub-Directorate for the Implementation of International Conventions, Sub Directorate for Conservation and Diversity Hayati – Directorate General of Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems (KSDAE) with the team, Liasion ACB, and Penabulu – Service Provider.
During the meeting, ACB informed that a No Objection Letter (NOL) from KfW had been obtained and invited Penabulu – Service Provider to release the Grant Agreement and disbursement to the grantees of SGP Indonesia Cycle 1. Th other discussions focused on reviewing the stages of SGP Indonesia Cycle 1 and discussing collaboration between ACB and MoEF 2022.
