Announcement Call for Proposal SGP Indonesia – Cycle 4
The Small Grants Program (SGP) Indonesia is a collaborative program between the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity (ACB) and the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) in the form of a Small Grant Program which includes biodiversity conservation and livelihood programs. This collaboration is contained in a Mutual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) cq. ASEAN Chair Indonesia with the Executive Director of ACB on 21 May 2015 in Jakarta with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) cq General Directorate of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation cq Directorate of Biodiversity Conservation as Program Implementing Agency. Funding support for this program was obtained from the German Government through the German Financial Cooperation/KfW (BMZ No. 2011 66545).
SGP Indonesia invited all Civil Society Organisations in Indonesia to submit proposals for support funding in the form of Small Grants for the Conservation Program in the ASEAN Heritage Park (AHP) region of Indonesia, specifically in Way Kambas National Park (WKNP).
General Conditions for Eligibility of Potential Grantees
SGP Indonesia will provide limited funding support at local or national Civil Society Organizations in the form of Foundations/Societies or Universities/Research Institutions that have Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate General of Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems (Dirjen KSDAE), Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) or Cooperation Agreement with the Authorities of WKNP or Recommendation Letter from the Authorities of WKNP during the Cooperation Letter submission process.
Theme of Call for Proposals for SGP Indonesia Cycle 4
The Call for Proposals for the Small Grant Program Cycle 4 for Way Kambas National Park, the focus is on improving the community’s support base in 12 villages around the Way Kambas National Park through improving community livelihoods (livelihood Improvement) including the development of eco-tourism and biodiversity conservation (Conservation) in Way Kambas National Park. particularly on endangered species with a total grant of EUR 100,000 awarded to civil society organizations working in Way Kambas National Park that passed each selection stage.
- Submission of Proposals is sent no later than March 26, 2022.
- Writing and Submitting a Proposal can be done on February 24 – March 26, 2022.

SGP Indonesia through the Penabulu Foundation as a Service Provider provides opportunities for civil society organizations working with Gunung Leuser National Park and Way Kambas National Park to access the Small Grants Program – SGP Indonesia Cycle 3 which focuses on Biodiversity Conservation Program includes strengthening the co-management of national parks AND the Community Livelihood Improvement Program including Ecotourism (Ecotourism) in Gunung Leuser National Park and Way Kambas National Park with a total grants value of EUR 847,170.

Announcement Extension of Proposal Submission of Small Grants SGP Indonesia – Cycle 2
The Penabulu Foundation as a Service Provider extends the deadline of small grants proposal for SGP Indonesia Cycle 2 by considering the long holiday of the Ied Mubarak 1441 H and the Large Scale Social Restrictions that are still ongoing.
The deadline for sending proposals is extended until June 10, 2020, at 11:59 pm (Jakarta time),

Call for Micro Grants Proposal (June – August 2020)
The conditions for the enactment of the New Normal policy will be an important part of commencing activities with certain prerequisites or with certain conditions with the aim of preventing the impact of the Corona 19 virus outbreak in Indonesia.
SGP Indonesia considers it important to provide firm directions in accordance with the policies of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia relating to the enactment of “New Normal” conditions to optimize and accelerate the implementation of the SGP Indonesia program together with small and ongoing grantees at the field level in both the Gunung Leuser National Park and the Park National Way Kambas.
We summon civil society organizations on a limited basis to prepare proposals related to the preparation of guidelines for the implementation of SGP Indonesia Small Grants Program activities during the “new normal” period which will soon be enacted by the Government of Indonesia.

This cooperation is contained in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by MoEF cq. ASOEN Chair Indonesia together with the ACB Executive Director dated May 21, 2015 in Jakarta with the Programme Implementing Agency (PIA) is the Directorate of Biodiversity Conservation, the Directorate General of Conservation of natural Resources and Ecosystems (DG KSDAE). Funding support for this program was obtained from the German Government through the German Financial Cooperation/KfW (BMZ No. 2011 66545).

Announcement Call for Proposal SGP Indonesia – Cycle 1
The Small Grant Programme (SGP) Indonesia provides an opportunity for civil society organizations working with Gunung Leuser National Park and Way Kambas National Park to access the Small Grants Program – SGP Indonesia Cycle 1.
SGP Indonesia Cycle 1 will focus on the Conservation Program with a total grant value of EUR 500,000 for civil society organizations working in Gunung Leuser National Park and Way Kambas National Park.
Terms of Reference for the SGP Indonesia Small Grant Call Cycle 1 and the interest of civil society organizations to access the SGP Indonesia Small Grant Program can be delivered by sending a Letter of Interest and Concept Proposal with the template provided.
SGP Indonesia will also provide Coaching Clinic: Submission of Proposals using the Monitoring and Management System Program (GraMMS), which we will hold on:
- Lampung, 30 September – 1 October 2019 for Civil Society Organizations working for Way Kambas National Park.
- Medan, 3 – 4 October 2019 for Civil Society Organizations working for Gunung Leuser National Park.
