Meeting with Forum rembug Desa Penyangga (FRDP) Taman Nasional Way Kambas

The meeting with the Forum Rembug Desa Penyangga (FRDP) TNWK was part of a field visit to the TNWK Hall on July 24, 2020. The meeting with FRDP aimed to discuss the micro grant proposal submitted to SGP Indonesia with the theme Human Animal Conflict with the case study of wild elephants in Labuan IX Village, Way Kambas, Lampung Timur, Lampung Province.

WKNP, represented by Ms. Elisabeth Devi Kris Murniati, as the Head of the TNWK – Elephant Training Center, provided directions for the micro grant proposal submitted by FRDP so that it does not overlap with WKNP’s programs and policies in managing animal conflicts, especially wild elephants with humans or residents around TNWK.
